Built visual systems across Steak ’n Shake’s digital and in-store experience, spanning menu boards, kiosks, social, web, environmental graphics, and motion. Developed scalable templates and production workflows that maintained brand consistency while making future menu and promotional updates faster and easier to execute.
Mural artwork, 168 in × 72 in, printed on adhesive vinyl.
A wall-length mural for the Las Vegas location, built as a layered collage in Photoshop: hand-treated product illustrations cut out and stacked over a washed red photo field of vintage storefronts, signage, and archive imagery. Neon figures from the Strip nod to where it would live. Every element was illustrated or treated individually, then composed so the wall reads as one dense field from across the dining room and rewards a closer look from the booth.

INDULGE IN FLAVOR — A billboard campaign built on one rule: the product is the hero and the joke is the headline. Each board pairs a single hero shot on a clean field with a tagline that turns a food word sideways: "Bunbelievable," "Fries to the Occasion," "Sip, Sip, Hooray!" Type scales up as the layout empties out, so the whole board resolves in the two seconds a driver actually gives it. Retouching and product photography treatment done in Photoshop.

The old menus were text-only, dense lists with no room for the product. I rebuilt them from the grid up, tightening leading and banding the categories until there was space for a photo next to nearly every item. Combos numbered for fast ordering, prices and calories in consistent positions, the shake wall running as one image row. Same page size. Same item count. Now you can actually see what you’re ordering.
