DIGITAL
 ILLUSTRATION
I have a strong foundation in design principles, supported by a fine art background and a deep knowledge of graphic design history. My digital illustration process involves thorough research, trend analysis, concept development, image sourcing, and layout design, with an emphasis on seamless typography integration.

Mural Design - Steak 'n Shake
For this project, I was tasked with designing a 28-foot-wide by 12-foot-high mural for Steak 'n Shake's Fremont Street location in Las Vegas. My goal was to capture both the nostalgia of the brand's rich history and the vibrancy of its modern appeal. This design was more experimental for Steak 'n Shake's interior walls. I applied a Photoshop filter to give the food images a cartoonish, Grand Theft Auto-inspired feel, outlining and shadowing the images against a nostalgic background with a branded red overlay. The layout harmoniously incorporated classic Steak 'n Shake language.
Program Cover
The task was to design a fair program cover with the theme "There's no place like home." This involved not only creating the cover but also laying out and paginating an 88-page magazine, designing half of the ads, and coordinating these tasks with just one account rep for support. Despite the tight deadline, the entire project was completed in four days.
Yearbook Page Design
This page design weaves together carefully curated images, thoughtful typography, and the timeless principles of the Golden Ratio. A deliberate sequence guides the viewer's eye on a poignant journey, beginning with a senior portrait in the upper left and culminating in an ultrasound image from the womb – a heartfelt celebration of life's beauty and continuity.
Promotion Poster
Balancing the aggressive, high-energy visuals with the need for clarity in conveying the promotion's details was a key challenge. I ensured that the text and prize information remained clear and prominent, without overwhelming the viewer, while still maintaining the intense, action-oriented aesthetic.
Infographic
The infographic was conceptualized by Scott Hill, PERQ’s Executive Chairman and Co-Founder, with whom I collaborated directly. My task was to illustrate the benefits of PERQ's Online Guided Shopping (OGS) by visually comparing consumer and business experiences before and after its implementation.

Note: The “big head on little body” mock-up was a lighthearted creation for my personal enjoyment.

This is the creative brief I received from Scott Hill. With his cryptic "chicken scratch" handwriting, it appeared as random lines, squiggles, and barely legible text. Despite this, I quickly interpreted his vision and transformed it into a clear, polished visual by the end of the day.
